I bought a set (of 4) of these from Deals Direct for about $40 delivered.
Powering them using a DC power supply set to 30V gave the same light level as the supplied 24V AC plug pack.
It seems that they could be run at up to 33-34V for increased brightness, but since I run my Big W strings at 30V I’m happy with that.
A few minutes work with the side cutters saw them separated and the wires identified (common positive and 2 channel negatives).
I then added some Big W plugs and made up a wiring harness so that I can deploy them easily each year.
