Output error???

In previous versions the output would change to "headphone" but in the new version we are only getting sound from the computer and not the output to the speakers when the cable is plugged in.  The previous version, as long as the output was connected before opening the program, it would play without issue.  What are we doing wrong?

By previous versions do you mean the old MultiPlay 2.5.5.0 or one of the new v3 releases?

Described behavior depends of your audio interface settings, not of MP. For MP doesn't matter phones or built-in speakers, it is the same output for it.
