Video Why does the PC desktop appear for a moment between one video and the next

Does anyone know how to prevent the PC desktop from appearing for a moment in the transition between one video and the next in the projection...

If you enable View > Video Main Windows, the windows will stay active (hiding the desktop) between cues.

Hi all 
i'm trying to project images.i get the preview window on my laptop but nothing through the projector.  the laptop and projector are talking if i put the laptop to duplicate i get the laptop screen.

hope this kinda makes sense

Have you gone into Production Properties > Windows and set up the window size, position, etc ?
